Quarterly Healthy Cooking Schools

The Wellness in the City program offers quarterly healthy cooking schools. There are two remaining cooking schools scheduled for 2003. The classes focus on quick and easy recipes that will fit into a healthy eating plan. The charge for the classes is $10, and participants get to sample all the foods that are prepared.. Participants must pre-register. Check out our schedule below, and pick the classes that are most convenient.


November - Surviving the Holidays

The November cooking school will feature healthy foods for the holiday season.

November 1st
Tarrant County Education Center
2 to 4 p.m.

November 8th
Dallas Farmers Market
2 to 4 p.m.
E-mail Susan Richey to register for the classes at the Dallas Farmers Market.

Summer Cooking School Series
On the first Tuesday of the month during June, July, and August
at the Dallas Farmers Market and the Tarrant County Education Center.
Classes will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Healthy Holiday Cooking School at the Dallas Farmers Market

November 13
Healthy Holiday Cooking School at the Tarrant County Education Center

All classes are $10.
Participants will get to sample all recipes demonstrated.
